Once we have established the maximum size that our image needs, we limit the area that is displayed on mobile devices in a centered way as shown in the following image:

Now we just have to design our cover image respecting this scheme. Just add everything you want that is not cut into the blue rectangle and voila… You now have a Facebook cover fully adaptable to all devices!

Here is an example of how I do it. As you can see, I have centered the logo and the text within the blue margin so that, when displayed on the smallest devices, the part that “gets lost” does not cut the information that we want to show in the first place.
